Information We Collect
We collect minimal information necessary to provide the App's core functionality.
Here's what we collect and how:
Information You Provide Directly
Pitcher and Opponent Names
You manually enter pitcher names, opponent names, and related statistics.
Storage: This data is stored locally on your device and manually synced to your personal iCloud account (if iCloud is enabled).
We do NOT collect or access this data. It remains on your device and in your personal iCloud storage.
Customer Support Communications
If you contact us for support at info@cyberpitchpro.com, we receive your email address and message content.
Use: Solely to respond to your inquiry.
Storage: Support emails are not stored in our systems after resolution.
We do NOT sell, share, or use your email for marketing.
Automatically Collected Information
Device Identifiers (Encrypted)
To pair Apple Watches with iPhones, we generate encrypted device identifiers (format: `CPPXXXXX`).
Use: Enables secure communication between paired devices.
Storage: Stored temporarily on our servers (Railway, US East/West regions) until devices are unpaired.
Retention: Automatically deleted after 90 days of inactivity or when you unpair devices.
Security: Device IDs are encrypted before transmission. Our server logs only show truncated IDs (first 12 characters) for debugging.
Location Data
Precise Location (GPS): Used temporarily to pair nearby Apple Watches with your iPhone (within 1,000 feet). Location is calculated and immediately discarded after successful pairing..
Coarse Location (City Level): Used to fetch weather data via OpenWeather API for your game records.
Weather Data Storage: Weather information (temperature, conditions) is stored locally on your device as part of game records.
Subscription Status
Apple provides us with your subscription status (Coach, Pro, or addons) to control feature access.
Handled by Apple: We do not store payment information or purchase history. Apple manages all transactions per their privacy policy: https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/
APNs Push Notification Tokens
To send pitch calls, defensive plays, and offensive plays to Apple Watches, we store Apple Push Notification (APNs) tokens temporarily.
Use: Deliver realtime notifications to paired watches.
Storage: Stored on our servers until devices are unpaired.
Retention: Deleted after 90 days of inactivity or upon unpairing.
Information Stored Locally (Not Collected by Us)
The following data is stored only on your device and in your personal iCloud account (if enabled):
Pitch call history (pitch type, timestamp, location, outcome)
Game records (dates)
Pitcher statistics (strikeouts, walks, hits, etc.)
Opponent data (name)
App settings and preferences
We do NOT collect or have access to your pitch history, statistics, or game records. This data remains exclusively on your device and in your personal iCloud account (if enabled by you).
Apple may collect certain information when you download and use the App through the App Store, including device information, App Store interactions, and diagnostics. This collection is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.

Cookies/Tracking Technologies
We do not use cookies, pixels, or third-party tracking technologies in the App.
Aggregate/Anonymous Data
We do not create aggregate or anonymized data sets for research, analytics,
or sharing with third parties.
Apple Watch Specific Disclosure
When using the App on Apple Watch, data is transmitted between your iPhone and Apple Watch using Apple's secure protocols.
No additional data is collected by the Apple Watch beyond what is disclosed in this policy.
How We Use Your Information
We use collected information solely for the following purposes:
Device Identifiers: Enable pairing between iPhones and Apple Watches.
APNs Tokens: Send pitch calls and play notifications to watches.
Location (Precise): Calculate proximity for device pairing (not stored).
Location (Coarse): Fetch weather data for game records (via OpenWeather).
Support Emails: Respond to customer inquiries.
Subscription Status: Control access to Coach vs. Pro features.
Information Sharing and Third Parties
We share minimal information with the following third parties solely for app functionality:
Apple Inc.
What: Subscription status, APNs tokens, iCloud sync data (controlled by you)
Why: Process payments, deliver push notifications, sync data across your devices

Note: OpenWeather does not store user identifiable information tied to our app.
Railway (Server Hosting)
What: Encrypted device identifiers, APNs tokens (temporarily)
Why: Host relay server for realtime watch to phone communication
Location: United States (East and West regions)
Security: All data encrypted in transit (TLS/SSL). Device IDs encrypted before storage.

We do NOT:
Sell your data to advertisers, data brokers, or marketing companies
Share data with analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Firebase)
Use third party tracking pixels or cookies
Data Retention
Data Type Retention Period:
Pitch/Game Data Stored locally on your device forever (until you delete).
Device Pairings Until you unpair devices OR 90 days of inactivity.
APNs Tokens Until you unpair devices OR 90 days of inactivity .
Server Logs 90 days, then automatically deleted.
Support Emails Deleted after inquiry is resolved.
iCloud Data Controlled by you (persists until you delete via iCloud settings).
Users can request immediate deletion by contacting info@cyberpitchpro.com rather than waiting for automatic deletion.
Automatic Cleanup:
Our servers automatically delete pairing data, APNs tokens, and logs after 90 days of inactivity to minimize data retention.
Your Data Rights
You have the following rights regarding your data:
Access Your Data
All pitch history, game records, and statistics are accessible within the App under "Analytics Hub" and "Game History" (Pro tier).
Data stored in iCloud can be viewed via Settings > iCloud > Manage Storage > CyberPitch Pro.
Delete Your Data
InApp Deletion: Go to Settings > Delete All Data to remove local data from your device.
iCloud Deletion: Go to iPhone Settings > iCloud > Manage Storage > CyberPitch Pro > Delete Data.
Server Data: Unpair all devices to remove pairing data and APNs tokens from our servers. Data is also automatically deleted after 90 days of inactivity.
App Uninstall: Deleting the app removes all local data. iCloud data persists until you manually delete it via iCloud settings.
Export Your Data
Pro Tier: Export game data, pitcher statistics, and reports as CSV, Excel, or PDF via the "Export Data" feature.
iCloud Backup: Your data is backed up to iCloud (if enabled) and can be restored on a new device.
OptOut of Data Collection
Location: Disable location access in iPhone Settings > Privacy > Location Services > CyberPitch Pro. Note: Pairing and weather features will not work without location access.
iCloud Sync: Disable in iPhone Settings > [Your Name] > iCloud > CyberPitch Pro (toggle off).
Push Notifications: Disable in iPhone Settings > Notifications > CyberPitch Pro.

Children's Privacy
CyberPitch Pro is intended for users aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us at info@cyberpitchpro.com, and we will promptly delete such information.
Compliance with COPPA:
We comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).
Our App does not:
Require account creation.
Collect names, email addresses, or photos from users under 13.
Use tracking technologies for children.
Security Measures
We take security seriously and implement the following protections:
Encryption in Transit: All data transmitted between devices and our servers uses TLS/SSL encryption (HTTPS, WSS).
Encrypted Device IDs: Device identifiers are encrypted before transmission and storage.
Encrypted Pitch Calls: Pitch calls are encrypted end to end (key stored only on paired devices).
Encrypted Offensive and Defensive Calls: Calls are encrypted end to end (key stored only on paired devices).
Server Security Hosted on Railway with industry standard security (firewalls, DDoS protection).
Limited Data Storage: We store minimal data on servers. Most data stays on your device.
Automatic Deletion: Server data autod eletes after 90 days of inactivity.
No Third Party Access: We do not share data with advertisers or analytics platforms.
No system is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
International Users
CyberPitch Pro is available in the United States.
If you use the App from other regions:
Your data may be transferred to and stored on servers in the United States (Railway, US East/West).
By using the App, you consent to data transfer to the US.
US data protection laws may differ from your country's laws.
For EU Users (GDPR):
If you are in the European Union, you have additional rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR):
Right to Erasure: Request deletion of your data (email info@cyberpitchpro.com).
Right to Data Portability: Export your data via the in app export feature (Pro tier).
Legal Basis: We process data based on your consent and to fulfill our contract with you (providing the App's services).
Data Controller: Cyber Pitch Pro LLC acts as the data controller

Right to Object: Users can object to data processing

Service Providers: Railway (server hosting), OpenWeather (weather data).

How to Exercise Your Rights:

Include: Your device model and approximate dates of app usage to help us verify your request.
Response Time: We will respond within 45 days (extendable by 45 days if needed).
Verification: We may request additional information to verify your identity before fulfilling requests.
Authorized Agent:
You may designate an authorized agent to make requests on your behalf. The agent must provide written proof of authorization.
Shine the Light Law:
Under California's "Shine the Light" law (Civil Code Section 1798.83), California residents may request information about our disclosure of personal information to third parties for direct marketing purposes. We do not disclose personal information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes.
Do Not Track (DNT):
Our App does not respond to Do Not Track signals because we do not track users across third party websites or apps.
Minors Under 16:
We do not sell personal information of minors under 16 years of age. Our app is intended for users 13 and older, and we do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Data Retention for California Residents:
See "Data Retention" section above for specific timelines. California residents can request immediate deletion at any time by emailing info@cyberpitchpro.com rather than waiting for automatic deletion.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements.
How We Notify You:
In app notification when you open the App after a policy update.
Updated "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy.
Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
Material Changes:
If we make significant changes (e.g., new data collection practices), we will provide prominent notice in the App and may require you to accept the updated policy before continuing to use the App.
